NEW MUSEUM BUILDING PROJECT
The Randolph Area Historical Society (RAHS) was created in 2000 to preserve and tell the story of the history of Randolph Minnesota and the surrounding areas, including Stanton, Waterford, Castle Rock, Hampton, and New Trier.
In 2003, the RAHS purchased the Randolph Methodist Church and was used as our museum until 2021. The Methodist Church building was too costly to renovate and bring up to current code. In 2020, the RAHS purchased a vacant lot at 4374 292nd Street East across from the fire department. Construction for the new museum began in the early spring of 2023 and the RAHS obtained the Certificate of Occupancy from the City of Randolph in the late fall.
Through generous donors, reputable contractors, and hard work by many volunteers, the RAHS has a new 2,000 square foot museum that is energy efficient and much easier to access. The RAHS satisfied the financial loans for the building project and we are proud to be debt free. Now that the heavy lifting has been done, future projects such as landscaping, interior decorating, cataloging, and creating displays need to be completed.

DONATE ITEMS
RAHS will accept to its collection a loan or donation of an item. Before an item is acquired for our collections, it undergoes a rigorous review process. Not all items are accepted, because not everything is appropriate for our collections, and because it is expensive to care for and provide access to collection items.
