NEW MUSEUM BUILDING PROJECT
Randolph Area Historical Society (RAHS) was created in 2000 to preserve and tell the story of the history of Randolph Minnesota and the surrounding areas, including Stanton, Waterford, Castle Rock, Hampton, and New Trier. Our museum was previously located in the old church at the corner of Dickson & Upper 291st. In May of 2021, the building, built in 1889 was sold after we learned that it would cost too much to bring it up to current code. Since that time, we have been exploring our options to build a new museum. We are thrilled to report that the project is moving forward with an expected completion date in 2023. We have purchased and paid for the city lot located at 292nd and Divers Path. Construction has begun and we hope to open later this summer.
The new museum will provide space for multiple long-term exhibits, smaller displays of local township history, and a research center with family genealogy files and reference materials. County residents, visitors, and school groups will be able to stop by and tour exhibits, and attend lectures and community events.

DONATE ITEMS
RAHS will accept to its collection a loan or donation of an item. Before an item is acquired for our collections, it undergoes a rigorous review process. Not all items are accepted, because not everything is appropriate for our collections, and because it is expensive to care for and provide access to collection items.
